Dementia strategy

Helping people live with dementia

As our population ages, the number of people with dementia will increase. Here at Viewpoint we’re aware of the scale of this challenge and are constantly reviewing and revising the services we provide for people with dementia - and the support we offer their families. We’ve just launched our third Dementia Strategy, outlining plans for dementia education and development for 2018 – 2020. You can read a copy of it here.

Our initiatives

Ever since we formalised our first Dementia Strategy in 2012 we’ve been leading the way with a range of practical initiatives. But we couldn’t have done it on our own and we’re grateful to our partners and funders for making these projects possible.

These are necessary for the website to function. They are usually set to enable a response to actions by you for example for services such as logging in, filling in forms or paying for something. This includes third-party services specifically Google Maps and ReCaptcha.

Performance to improve our services to you

This allows us to, for example, count visits and sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. It helps us know which pages are the most and least popular and how visitors move around our site.
