This post will be based at Marian House our 35 bedroomed Care Home located in the Grange area of Edinburgh. Specialising in Dementia, Nursing and Residential Care, we are graded “very good” by the Care Inspectorate.

About the Role

You will join our dynamic Marian House Care Home team, assisting and supporting the Care Home Manager in all reception and administrative duties.  You will be computer literate, have knowledge in administration and proficient in various systems. You should have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.  As an Administrator you will have excellent written and communication skills and from time to time you will be required to attend meetings out with normal working hours. You will also have a knowledge of the Health and Social Care Standards and also be able to communicate with people living with dementia.

With an outgoing personality, a desire to show initiative and good attention to detail, you will have a compassionate approach and ideally have some experience working with older people. An SVQ Level 3 Business and Administration or equivalent is preferred.
